Family History

The Polish Museum houses 75 family history books.  Lateral information about your own family may have already been recorded and documented.  There are available for perusal at the Polish Museum.

Charles Sieracki – formerly of Winona – has organized a user-friendly genealogical research area at the museum this year (2015).  It is available to and usable by the public.  He has obtained and set up two laptop computers for personal research.  They are located in the middle of the museum, near the gift shop, and are ready for use any time the museum is open.

  1. Hello!

I recently started researching the family tree on my mother’s side (Trzebiatowski) and found that my third great grandfather, Johann Zmuda Trzebiatowski, moved to Winona, MN before settling in my hometown of Amherst, WI.
I’m not sure when the museum is open, but I was wondering if you could tell me if you have any records or documents on Johann?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

  2. You have a picture of men fishing carp at bath house for smoking I would like to try and get a copy as one of the men are most likely a relative, as well as I know my great grandfather was a stone mason. My last name is laska
